The Giant Puppets are on the move don’t miss them on July 1 at 11 a.m.

We hope you have time to join the parade on July 1.

We meet at the Old Recreation Centre at Hwy #2 and walk up to the new Snow Community Centre. Parade starts at 11 a.m. All traffic will be stopped during the parade on Hwy #2 and Fall River Road. The giant puppets will be on display after the parade in the Snow Community Centre.

Fall River Canal Days Art Exhibition
July 1-3
Exhibition is open from 1 – 4 p.m. each day  at G.R.Snow Community Centre, Fall River

Celebrate with our community the joy of colour and creativity.

Event Schedule is Here

The Event Schedule for the three Canal Days is now available. Detailed information on all the events will be up soon as well. You can start to plan your July 1 and it could look like this:

Have breakfast at the St. John’s United Church,
Take your canoe up the river to Lock 4,
Be back at Highway 2 at 11 a.m to see the Giant Puppets, built by community members, walk the Parade,
Sing your heart out at the Flag Raising Ceremony at noon
Go for an art making experience,
Shop for some beautiful art work by local artists,
Have a look at the old firetrucks,
Get your face painted,
Walk over to the Vegetorium to be part of the strawberry baking contest,
Come back to the Snow Community Centre and relax with some great food in front of the Gazebo, listening to live music.

Giant Puppet Workshop

Saturday, June 11 from 1-4 p.m. at the LWF Hall is the last chance to get your hands on the giant puppets. We are finishing of the painting of the puppets, hands, and rods.

Hope to see you there. Again a big Thank You to all the community members that came out over the last three month to create and help with the puppets.
