Trail Walk Walk with us the Historic Old Coach Trail in Fall River
Come and walk the Historic Old Coach Trail in Fall River. Join members of the Open Space and Trails group as we walk one of the last remnants in our community of an historic 200 year old coach road. Learn about the natural history along the trail as
well as plans to connect this trail to the MacDonald Sports Park Trail system.
When: Saturday July 2, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM (Rain or Shine)
Where: Meet at the intersection of Blue Hill Road and Lake Thomas Crescent. For map click here.
This will be an easy walk but bring appropriate foot ware (some wet areas), drinking water and insect repellent.

Fun Dog Show
Call to Artists An Art Exhibition will be held during the Fall River Canal Days.
Date: July 1-3 from 1-4 p.m.
Location: Snow Community Centre, Multipurpose Room
All artists from the broader Fall River area are invited to register their art works (no registration fee). We are accepting two works per artist in all media (photography, painting, sculpture, fiber art, pottery, jewellery and more). The art works will be displayed on exhibition easels and tables. 10% of sales will go to the Fall River Canal Days 2012.
Please register early, space is limited. Registration deadline is June 20.
Insurance for transportation to and from location and during the exhibition is responsibility of the artist.

1 – 4 p.m. Art Exhibition, Video Screening, Photos: Fall River Community Art Project, Giant Puppets on display
2 – 4 p.m. Firetrucks and Fire Boat on display
2 – 4 p.m. Victorian Tea, served in period costumes ($ 5.00 per person) funds going towards LWF Historical Archives
2 – 4 p.m. Shakespeare in the Gazebo with musical accompaniment by members of Lockview Band
(Please, bring your own chairs.)
